June 09, 2011 - As I am currently on my way back to Illinois at the moment, today marks the first in a small collection of fan art given to use as part of a "7 in 7 Challenge", where we we tried to draw pictures of other people's webcomic characters. This of course is Bill, drawn by Dave Adams of Slightly Off-Topic who apprently thinks that our characters are dangerously pale... which I honestly can't refute.

We shall resume the comic on Monday on my return to Michigan, and the rest of the Bill pictures will be posted up every Saturday starting next week. Till then!

So instead of a new comic I'm brining you a little old fashioned Random Geekness showing off a few character models I've reccently done and some that I've done in the past. The newest creations would include Future Paladin of "The Best of What's Left" and Mark of "Autumn Lake", both of which are made by buddies of mine and deserve a little more love than they get. The other two characters are Vivika from the now defunct "Stridpartners", who appeared in a small crossover with Bill some time back, and the nameless kid from "Guy in a Dinosaur Costume", who once had a Valentine's Day blind date with Manda. Whether any of these or other characters will be appearing in a PTD comic in the future remains to be seen, but still they were fun to make so I thought I'd share.

June 11, 2010 - PTD will be continued on Monday, but for the moment I wanted to share with everyone this shirt design that I've created for the Relay For Life, which is a series of events hosted by the American Cancer Society to help raise money for cancer research. While these events are held for a good cause, they can also be a pretty good time with live music and activities, and they usually last throughout the night until morning in case you feel like being out and about while doing some good for the community. If anyone is interested in checking out one of these Relays, head on over to their offical website and see if there's one being held near you... and if there isn't, everyone is encouraged to try and organize one themselves! As for me, I need to get some sleep so I can be out at this thing making shirts and helping out. We'll be back to the action on Monday!

In the meantime though, I was given this really spiffy collection of sketches from my fellow webcomickers that I missed out in meeting up with at Penguicon. I'll have to try and get an offical links list up here when I can, but for the moment all I can try to do is let people know how much I apreciate this!
